Not a real society

The Nestwatch Society does not exist. Its committee, members, outings, log and mug are invented, and nobody will be waiting in the hide on Friday, though the birds may well be. The two buttons above count presses and nothing else.

The birds in the field guide are real species, and their field marks are the real birds’. The etiquette is real advice: the people you meet in VR are people. Do not follow anyone between worlds, do not record anyone without asking, and if someone asks you to give them space, give it.
